Cavities are a result of a bacterial infection referred to as “caries.” In our practice, we use the CariFree™ program. It was designed to help patients become free of cavities by evaluating their risks for disease. We diagnose any presence of bacterial infections that can cause cavities. We treat the infection with specific preventive techniques.
It is our goal to prevent cavities, and the CariFree program accomplishes just that! We give you a “caries risk assessment” that identifies any present factors that could cause decay. We give you instructions and products to take home and use that will significantly reduce the chance of cavities.
